Privacy policy
Who we are
This website is run by Romanian Gala UK, the organiser of the Romanian Christmas Ball. Romanian Gala UK is responsible for the personal data described on this page.
Write to us at bookings@romanianball.co.uk or call 07760 100101.
Buying tickets
Tickets are sold through Little Box Office. The details you give when you book, such as your name, email address and payment details, are collected by Little Box Office to complete the booking and are shared with us as the organiser so we can manage the guest list and seating. We use them to deliver the event you booked.
Little Box Office explains how it handles your data in its own privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics only if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Reject, or make no choice, none of them is loaded.
Google Analytics tells us which pages are visited, from what kind of device and roughly from which region, and how many visitors select Reserve your place.
Your choice is saved in your own browser, so we do not ask on every visit, and it is not sent to us. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
The venue map
The map in the venue section is loaded from Google Maps. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies, as described in Google’s privacy policy.
Hosting
The website is hosted by IONOS. Like every web server, theirs keeps short technical logs of each visit, such as the IP address, browser, page requested and time, to keep the site secure and running.
Who else receives data
Little Box Office for bookings, Google for the venue map, Google Analytics if you accept cookies, and IONOS for hosting. Some of these companies may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards described in their own policies. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Booking details are kept for as long as we need them to run the ball and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Google Analytics keeps visit data for no longer than 14 months.
Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or limit how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time.
If you are unhappy with how we handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Write to us at bookings@romanianball.co.uk or call 07760 100101.

We update this page when the way we use data changes. Last updated 7 October 2026.
